Barnum Festival Parade

We attended the Barnum Festival’s Great Street Parade earlier today. We got a front row spot and enjoyed the creative floats, giant character balloons, marching bands and more. Our 2yo demanded “more horns and drums.” Photo highlights:

Dog Balloon

A giant dog balloon and a very tall patriot on stilts.

Ronald McDonald

The famous Ronald McDonald.

Mini Cars

Cars sized just right for our 2yo.

Popeye

A paper mache Popeye.

Darth Vader

And for some reason, Darth Vader was there along with the gang: storm troopers, Boba Fett and Princess Leia.

Making Friends at Trumbull Day

Trumbull Day

We took advantage of the sunny weather this weekend and enjoyed a Saturday afternoon at Trumbull Day. Rides, wild animals, games, good food – what’s not to like? Can you spot my 2yo and I shaking hands with a new (and very tall) friend?  Hope you enjoyed this glorious weather!
