Café Madeline is located in town center and definitely worth a visit. My daughter and I recently had an early dinner there with some friends. The staff was very friendly, and service was terrific and quick. Our energetic (read: loud) table of two moms and three kids under the age of 4 was very appreciative. Plus, the food was delicious!
Café Madeline offers a special called the “Recession Dinner.” For $22, you get a soup or salad, choice of seven entrees and dessert of gelato, mousse cake or cream puffs. With portions generous enough to share – and menu items that are kid-friendly and not just the typical kid’s menu – my 2 yo and I enjoyed the Caesar salad (she loves croutons), baked lasagna and two scoops of gelato (panna cotta and chocolate chip, which were great recommendations by our server). For a budget-friendly and scrumptious meal, treat yourself to Cafe Madeline. Outdoor seating is available for people-watching along Post Road.
