Tonight, Fairfield celebrates at Penfield Beach and Jennings Beach,with a rain date on July 5. The Atwood Express Oldies Band will be playing music from 5pm to 7pm at Jennings Beach. Penfield Pavilion will feature In Harmony from 7pm to 9pm. Explosive fireworks at dark!

Today’s Festivities

Southport – Downtown and the Pequot Great Lawn
Annual Bike Parade, Recipe Contest, & Old Fashioned Lawn Games from 10am to 11:30am. All decorated bikes, scooters, wagons, etc. are welcome. Food and entertainment.

Greenwich  - Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road
Raise the first American flag, sing patriotic songs, read passages from the declaration of independence with the Sound Beach Community Band from 9am to 10am.

Norwalk – Mill Hill Historic Park, St. Paul’s on the Green Episcopal Church and the First Congregational Church on the Green

Darien – Goodwives Shopping Center
The 5th Annual Push-n-Pull Parade of bikes, scooter and wagons from 10:30am to noon. Food, crafts and live entertainment at Tilley Park following the parade.

Mystic Seaport – 75 Greenmanville Avenue (Route 27)
Experience an authentic 1870s Fourth of July celebration with special ceremonies and parade from 9am to 5pm.
 
Litchfield – Litchfield Green
An old-fashioned pet parade, sack races, period music, ice cream social and more from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
