Confetti Time for the World Champion Yankees!

The NY Yankees, world series champions for the 27th time, will celebrate with a parade up the Canyon of Heroes (lower Broadway from the Battery to City Hall) starting at 11am today.
New York City Mayor Bloomberg will present the champs with the key to the city at a City Hall ceremony right after the parade.
It should be quite a spectacle, especially after a nine year drought. May be worth a trip to the city for this parade!

My husband, Phillip, is so blessed to be able to see the Canyon of Heroes NY parade this morning. We are from Chicago, but the greatest of Yankee fans. He actually attended Game 6 and was there to bring his team to another World Championship. He flew out late Friday nite and watched all the weekend games against Philadelphia amongst NYY Fans. Also Game 5 & 6 with his friends and fans in Staten Island. He’ll be home on Monday knowing this journey has been completed Victoriously. What a dynasty!!!!!. What a year!!!!!! What a team!!!!! The are the Greatest!!!!! 27 World Championships to prove it!!!! Thanks, George, and the whole NYY franchise, and team for making this such a memorable year for us!!!!! We Love You!!!!!!
