Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Maritime Aquarium from 8:15am to 10am. For ages 10 & up.
Monday, 12/28
Community Day from 1pm to 3pm at Fairfield Museum & History Center. Enjoy an afternoon of stories and activities while viewing the Holiday Express Train show.
Tuesday, 12/29
Pre-school storytime from 10am to 11am at Fairfield Museum & History Center. Have fun with planes, trains and automobiles and bicycles too. Hear stories about wonderful transportation machines.
Wednesday, 12/30
Holiday Scavenger Hunt from 1pm to 2pm.
Thursday, 12/31
First Night 2010 Westport. Events start at 3pm. Fun for the whole family.
Friday, 1/1
Happy New Year’s Day!
Saturday, 1/2 and Sunday, 1/3 New Year’s Weekend Celebration at Beardsley Zoo. From 10am to 2pm, learn about animals in the winter, watch them enjoy a special enrichment activity, and participate in hands-on workshops.
Ongoing 12/30-1/3 Disney on Ice Princess Classics at the Arena at Harbor Yard.

Book Sale
The Friends of the Fairfield Library is holding a special book sale. Fill a bag with as many books as you can for just $5! Sale starts today and runs through Monday, January 4.Visit both the Main Library and the Branch Library and stock up on gently used fiction, nonfiction and children’s books.

Wonderland at Roseville
Take a ride to 226 Roseville Terrace (right off Black Rock Turnpike) and enjoy a wonderland of lights. From the Santa and reindeer suspended high in the air to the amazing display of lights to the train that travels from the front yard to the backyard, it is all over-the-top fun and sure to get you in the holiday spirit! Great for all ages.
Wonderland at Roseville lights up nightly at 5:30pm (weather permitting). Ends January 2.
On Christmas Eve at 5pm, stop by and visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus, an elf or two, some Angels and the Grinch. Santa will be handing out candy canes to everyone before embarking on his long trip.
