Free Outdoor Pops Concert Tonight
A free outdoor Pops Concert with the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra and Matthew Savery as Guest Conductor will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 8pm. on the rolling lawn in front of the library at Fairfield University, 1073 North Benson Road in Fairfield. The program will include Pops favorites for the entire family, including light classics, Broadway hits, and Soprano Ashley Harrington, the 2009 winner of the Jenny Lind Competition. Pre-Concert program will feature The Brian Torff Jazz Quartet at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30pm. No admission charge. No tickets required. Free parking with continuous shuttle buses from the campus parking lots to concert site. Bring a picnic and a blanket or beach chair. No pets permitted on campus. Mark Your Calendar: Easton Fireman’s Carnival
The Easton Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting its 75th Annual Fireman’s Carnival from August 3 through August 7. Featuring rides, games, food, bingo, and other attractions, this old fashioned carnival is fun for the whole family. The Carnival will be at the Firehouse on the Green, located at One Center Road in Easton. For more information, visit the EVFC website.

Free Summer Movies
Regal Entertainment Group has planned a fun-filled summer of select FREE movies for kids and parents. Selected G or PG movies start at 10am every Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival which runs from June 22 to August 18. Tickets and seating are first-come, first-served and are limited to theatre capacity.
The closest theater in our area is Stratford Stadium 14 at 411 Barnum Avenue, Stratford.
