Free Outdoor Pops Concert Tonight

A free outdoor Pops Concert with the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra and Matthew Savery as Guest Conductor will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 8pm. on the rolling lawn in front of the library at Fairfield University, 1073 North Benson Road in Fairfield. The program will include Pops favorites for the entire family, including light classics, Broadway hits, and Soprano Ashley Harrington, the 2009 winner of the Jenny Lind Competition. Pre-Concert program will feature The Brian Torff Jazz Quartet at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30pm. No admission charge. No tickets required. Free parking with continuous shuttle buses from the campus parking lots to concert site. Bring a picnic and a blanket or beach chair. No pets permitted on campus.
