Dre Towey Concert with Kwame Henry Jones
Dance with your little ones to Dre Towey’s playful tunes from her albums Sugar on Top and Chester the Dog. Dre will be joined by Kwame Henry Jones on the African Drums. Monday, April 12 from 10am to 11am at the Darien Library .

Visit The Little Gym on Wednesday, February 10 at 11:45am to sing songs, play games, win prizes, and learn about having healthy teeth!
This is an hour long event:
- 1/2 hour will be with the tooth fairy
and
- 1/2 hour will be in the gym for exploration time

The first annual North Pole Expo featuring Blocks of Love is today from 10am to 4pm at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. This holiday event benefits CancerCare for Kids.

So Long to Summer…Already?!

The CT Audubon Society hosts five days of fun as we get ready to say goodbye to summer, including games, crafts, scavenger hunts and some wacky water fun. For 3-5 year olds and children who have completed Grades K-5. Runs from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21 from 9am to noon daily.
There is also a “Lunch Bunch” option for all ages, from noon to 1:30 pm. Pick up your child 90 minutes later. Campers will have lunch (campers must provide their own) and then have some afternoon fun.

“Touch A Truck” Family Event

Mark your calendar for “Touch A Truck” on Sunday, September 20, from noon to 4pm at Fairfield Ludlowe High School on 785 Unquowa Road.
Kids will get their kicks at this family-friendly event, whether it’s climbing aboard a cement mixer, peering inside a police cruiser or squeezing into a smart car. A fundraiser for the Junior Women’s Club of Fairfield, the “Touch A Truck” will also feature food vendors, a vehicle play area for the little ones, and more. Proceeds to benefit scholarships for Fairfield high school students.
Tickets are $5 per person, ages 1 and up; maximum $20 per family. For more information, visit www.jwcfairfield.com. Rain date is September 27.

Wish America a Happy Birthday this weekend!
Fairfield’s own Independence Day celebration at Penfield Beach and Jennings Beach is Saturday, July 4,with a rain date on July 5. The Atwood Express Oldies Band will be playing music from 5pm to 7pm at Jennings Beach. Penfield Pavilion will feature In Harmony from 7pm to 9pm. Explosive fireworks at dark!

Raise the first American flag, sing patriotic songs, read passages from the declaration of independence with the Sound Beach Community Band from 9am to 10am.

It’s Tea Time on Sunday, June 7
Playtime Village in Monroe hosts a monthly Dress Up Tea Party for girls ages 3 & up. It’sheld on the first Sunday of every month from 2pm to 3pm.
Little girls should wear their favorite party or princess dress to this “real” tea party with fina china. Guests will decorate a doily, create a beaded necklace, dance, play fun games and enjoy tea-time refreshments.
